Conduction
I go through solids one by one,
waiting for them to heat up.
A heatsource is my best friend.
It helps me do my job.
I move so briskly its hard to see me.
I am invisible,
silent,
but you know I'm there
becasue things heat up all around me.
The candle is out.
I'm gone.

Got it, the dinner for the night. The pattern on their skin is as detailed as a newly fallen snowflake. The prey tastes divine in the cheetah's mouth. The sky turns in to a sea of stars. Which alarms the cheetah it's time to rest. The young ones falling asleep to their mother's heart beat.

Heat is neat
Heat can't be beat.
It can cook your food,
it can set the mood.
It is silent,
but is always there.
it even helps dry my hair.
Heat is neat.

Light the match: if you drop it don't scream,
Mr. William is very keen
lets try again: put it to the candle wick
all it needed was a little kick
and now you are ready to start your experiment
i hope you have all the right equipment:)

swish the match is in flames,
as i carefully light the candle,
it's sort of a game,
the chocolate chip on the metal handle,
because the molecules came,
conduction the clip get hot now to,
i blame the brass because that wire came in last,
copper, iron, then brass better give copper a tip,
lier what a shame you can't give up the game,
but at some point you must at last fill out papers, letters, whatever,
say goodbye to your guys materials and call them again another day,
you could say it's over for now.

Materials
Matches are lit and are eager to light candles. A flask is filled up, but is sad when the water is moved to a flask. Tables save the precious water that is spilled, feeling like a hero. Eye droppers are hurt when squeezed, but enjoy letting the water flow out of them. Rubber gloves are used to keep one from burning his/her hand, giving the gloves satisfaction. I see the food coloring and water having fun, and then they mix to make green water. A battery and wires are jolted when they get to light a bulb. Liquid is poured into a flask, and is extemely jubilant. Smash! The beaker is dropped and it brakes. The beaker is considered dead. :(
MATERIALS-They have feelings too, you know.

Free Verse Poem Gram
Gram you're so minute
A thousand of you produces a kilogram
If anyone drops you its like dropping something in midair
Because you don't make a sound
Your weight is used to measure an object
There are not many objects that weigh as much as you
Some springs weigh as much as you
When someone drops them they make a pop
But there are a lot of objects that multiply your weight
Some of them are plates, platforms, plates
Even though you are minute
You have a weight set

Birds
A bird is as colorful as a rainbow It fly's high in the sky and migrates along the beautiful mountians and trees. A bird is small and a bird is big, but they are like an angel with perfect wings. All year round we see birds, we can observe thier legnth, thier wingspan, thier width as they nest in the ground or the trees.

It is so graceful to watch birds
Got to experience this event
Ready, set, go birds think in their mind
After they start they’re ready for whatever they undergo

The birds are ready to move
If they don’t go now they won’t survive
Once they’re out there is no turning back
Not until spring when they come back home
